Description

Sustainability and Transformation Partnerships  have now evolved into Integrated Care Systems.

All Organisation Data Service  records for Sustainability and Transformation Partnerships  were renamed as Integrated Care Boards  on 1 July 2022.

The definition has been retained for historical reporting.

Sustainability and Transformation Partnership (STP) is an integral part of NHS England and NHS Improvement.

A Sustainability and Transformation Partnership is where local NHS ORGANISATIONS and Local Authorities draw up shared proposals to improve health and care in the areas they serve.

In some areas Sustainability and Transformation Partnerships have evolved to become Integrated Care Systems, a new form of even closer collaboration between the NHS and Local Authorities.
