or

2.Sum the ASSIGNMENT CONTRACTED FULL TIME EQUIVALENT of ASSIGNMENTS for POSITIONS for a STAFF GROUP in an ORGANISATION at the end of the REPORTING PERIOD where:

or

and

3.Divide the resulting sum of ASSIGNMENT CONTRACTED FULL TIME EQUIVALENTS at the end of the REPORTING PERIOD by the resulting sum of ASSIGNMENT CONTRACTED FULL TIME EQUIVALENTS at the start of the REPORTING PERIOD and multiply by 100.

For example if the resulting sum of FTEs at the start of the reporting period is 65.33 and the resulting sum of FTEs at the end of the reporting period is 59.16 the FTE STABILITY RATE (STAFF GROUP IN REPORTING PERIOD) is:

(59.16 / 65.33) * 100 = 90.55%

The appropriate STAFF GROUP for a POSITION is established via its relationship to the JOB ROLE of the POSITION.
