The number of working hours lost of an EMPLOYEE ABSENCE. It is based upon the EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT WORKING HOURS for the ASSIGNMENT of the EMPLOYEE in the period of the EMPLOYEE ABSENCE as recorded by the EMPLOYEE ABSENCE START DATE and EMPLOYEE ABSENCE END DATE.
Where the absence relates to staff whose contracted time is measured in EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT WORKING SESSIONS, then the lost working sessions should be converted into lost working hours by using the conversion factor of a session representing 3.5 hours.
